Meet and Greets are offered at no additional cost prior to you finalizing your decision to go with us as your pet sitting provider, ensuring both you and your pet are comfortable and satisfied. At our Meet and Greet, we will go over the following:
- Yours and your pet’s daily routine
- Your pet’s feeding routine
- A tour of the home
- Where cleaning supplies are kept for clean up
- Where you would like your sitter to stay
- Your pet’s over-all routine, likes, dislikes, medical history, behavioral, etc
- Your Emergency Contacts and Preferred Veterinarians in case of Emergency
- Access to the home via keys or security systems
- Our Pet Sitting Service Agreement which includes an overview of our policies
- Booking Dates and Check In/Out Times and Payment
$90/Day
Pet-sitting depends upon availability, schedules and location. If we are unable to accommodate your needs, we may be able to recommend someone that follows the same ethics!
Pet-sitting prices include two animals, with additional animals incurring an additional fee; if you have a multi-pet home, please reach out to get an individualized quote! Outside of the city of Calgary may include a fuel fee as well. Please note that pet-sitting that requires a pet-sitter be gone no longer than 4 hours in a day, will incur additional fees.
Pet-sitting over the holidays or peak periods will have an additional surcharge (please contact us to inquire for an individualized quote).
Peak Period Dates:
– Christmas (December 20th to January 3rd)
– Spring Break/Easter (March 20 to April 13, as well as Easter Monday)
– May long weekend
– Canada Day long weekend
– August long weekend
– Labour Day long weekend
– Thanksgiving long weekend
We do not offer pet-sitting on December 24th and 25th
The Gentle Guardian Overnight Pet-Sitting
Includes:
- Pre-visit Meet and Greet with behaviour intake
- Overnight stay/care + pee breaks (dogs) during the day
- 30 minute walks focused on decompression and safety
- Providing mental stimulation through play and other enrichment
- Cleaning pet enclosures (if applicable)
- Feeding am/pm and refreshing water
- Scooping litterboxes/picking up feces
- Taking out trash/compost/recycling
- Watering plants and bringing in mail
- Walk through to ensure home is secure
- Customized reports and photos through text or email
- Optional add-ons such as extra dog walks or field trips, dog training, nail trims, grooming (limited)
The “Peace of Mind” Check-In
For quick, reassuring pop-ins or mid-day visits.
Includes:
- 20-30 minute check-in, potty break, or litter box scoop (for pet)
- Water refresh, treats, play and cuddles (for pet)
- Adjust lights, open/close blinds, water plants, do a security walk-through
- Real-time updates so you know all is well
- Add-Ons can include walks, additional time, medication administration, training

Booking Policy:
You may determine booking our Services after a Meet and Greet and dates have been confirmed available. All payments will be made, in full, at the time of booking, via cash, credit, or e-transfer as determined by Client, as this ensures your spot to be booked. We CANNOT book your spot in our Calendar without your payment, as we frequently have requests for Pet Sitting. We ask for bookings to be made as far in advance as possible, with a minimum of 48 hours notice. While we may accommodate less notice for bookings, this will be at the discretion of Beyond Dog.
Cancellations Policies: Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded at the discretion of Beyond Dog Training and Pet Services. We understand “life happens” and may make exceptions in extenuating circumstances. Cancellations made with 48 hours notice will receive a 50% refund, while cancellations with 7 days or more notice, will be allotted a full refund minus a $50.00 admin fee. Cancellations may be rescheduled or credited for other services (as determined by Client and Beyond Dog) in lieu of refund, provided there is 48 hours or more notice.
*Please note that when discussing Rescheduling, we do have other Clients, and some dates may not be available.
