Behaviour-Informed Care
We’re not just holding the leash.
Our background in dog training and behaviour allows us to recognize body language, anticipate potential triggers and adjust the environment when your dog needs a little extra space.
This makes our private walks especially well suited for dogs who may not thrive in traditional group walking environments, including:

Some dogs want an energetic adventure. Others want to investigate the same patch of grass for three minutes.
Both are perfectly good walks.

We use compassionate, force-free handling and positive reinforcement. We will never intentionally intimidate, punish or force your dog through situations that make them uncomfortable.

Every Beyond Dog walk includes individualized one-on-one care, an outing tailored to your dog’s energy and comfort level, opportunities for sniffing and enrichment, positive reinforcement and appropriate reinforcement of existing training, fresh water when we return home, and an update so you know how your dog’s adventure went.
And yes—photos whenever we can. Because seeing that happy face is half the fun.

60-Minute Private Walk

Our full walking experience, with more time for exercise, sniffing, exploring and enrichment.
Have More Than One Dog?
Dogs from the same household can enjoy their walk together when appropriate.
Additional household dog: +$15 per walk
We’ll always consider the individual dogs, their walking styles and safety when determining whether walking together is the best option.
